REDTRAY’s new ALTO learning portal for compliance managers reduces financial and regulatory compliance risk

London, UK – 20 May 2010: REDTRAY Ltd, one of Europe’s leading IT Training Outsourcing providers, launches ALTO v2.0, a new online portal that enables compliance managers to reduce the financial and regulatory compliance risk through comprehensive tracking and detailed reporting of training programmes. ALTO gives compliance managers an electronic training administrator to manage mandatory courses - it automates when personnel need to complete courses, sends out reminders and then monitors when users have successfully completed the training.

With legislation like the new Bribery Act 2010 and other sweeping new regulatory frameworks on the horizon as a result of the global financial crisis, compliance managers must be able to adapt quickly to ensure their organisations and employees are fully compliant. REDTRAY’s SaaS-based portal is unique in its ease-of-use and its ability to manage both structured and informal learning including on-line forums.

Colin Johnson of Forensic and Investigation Services at Grant Thornton is keen to ensure companies do not fall foul of the forthcoming Bribery Act 2010 and its wide-ranging implications. “The new Bribery Act is an important new extension of legislation which is likely to take effect later this year. Companies that have not put an appropriate training programme in place for the new regime will risk exposing themselves to unnecessary risk.”

Vicky Jones, Managed Services Director of REDTRAY, adds, “Many of our clients are working flat out to become compliant with legislation such as the Bribery Act and the new ALTO 2.0 delivers a highly flexible tool to manage these complex and recurring learning programmes. Most importantly, ALTO is an easily scalable and robust SaaS solution which can be deployed quickly without the need to invest in hardware or IT resources. It enables compliance managers to identify and manage staff competency levels, align training to corporate goals as well as reduce training administration costs.”

ALTO v2.0 is built on the foundation of a powerful Learning Management System that has been developed by REDTRAY over many years to support its customers sophisticated learning programmes. ALTO can manage all aspects of training by automating and managing the administration, management, delivery and end user experience of blended learning programmes.

REDTRAY’s clients are currently upgrading to ALTO v2.0 and it is now be available for general release.
