Q6 deliver worldwide training for Ipanema Technologies Business growth drives Ipanema to expand training provision
16/06/2009
Chertsey, UK, 16 June 2009 - Ipanema Technologies, a leader in integrated WAN Optimisation and Application Performance Management solutions, has selected Q6 Training to expand its global provision of technical training. Ipanema has increased its training delivery by 40% during the first half of 2009, compounding the 253% growth between 2004 and 2008. Q6, part of the REDTRAY Group, will enable Ipanema to continue to meet the training demands of its growing population of partners and customers from across Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia.
To deliver training on Ipanema's full portfolio across the globe, Q6 has created a complete remote lab environment - a duplicate of Ipanema's existing system in Paris. The lab allows the delivery of classes anywhere in the world without having to ship equipment to the location, but still provides a full hands-on experience. Students access a lab remotely when undertaking their practical training sessions. Delegates can also attend Q6's classroom sessions that are scheduled at training centres in Chertsey or Paris, or they can have a course delivered at their chosen location.
Nigel Pink, Ipanema VP and GM UK and Ireland, says, "Ipanema's business is growing significantly. To support this growth, accessible and high quality training via organisations such as Q6 is key. Q6's technical skills, their deep understanding of the WAN optimisation market and their position as an independent training company made them the perfect choice. Through Q6, we will ensure that our partners and customers can deploy Ipanema systems with greater precision and this in turn will help them to reduce their network costs and guarantee their business critical applications."
As part of the training programme, Q6 will undertake a training needs analysis of Ipanema's key audiences to ensure the training is both effective and appropriate. Training for channel partners is based on building their knowledge of Ipanema's full product range so they can increase sales. Guidance to service providers focuses on how to configure and support the products to achieve the best results for their customers. And end users are shown how to maximise their network infrastructure to deliver cost savings and ROI. Paul Sibley, Technical Director, Q6 Training adds, "We are delighted to partner with Ipanema and to add their highly prestigious and respected name to the growing list of global partners that we represent. Ipanema's growth, impressive list of existing global customers and potential market penetration makes them an exciting partner. We look forward to assisting them in growing their sales partner base and increasing their market share in this competitive sector."
